High Profile Texas Sexual Assault Cases

Here are three high profile Texas sexual assault cases involving individuals being convicted as serial rapists:

• Police in Dallas arrested a 15-year-old boy as the suspect in several sexual assaults. The teenager was charged with aggravated sexual assault for three separate Dallas rapes in September and October of 2018. He was linked by DNA to two other attacks that occurred in Bossier City, Louisiana. He is also a suspect in a death of a woman. In all the instances, the suspect knocked on the door and asked the woman for work or money before forcing himself in her home and attacking her.

• A Brazo Valley man was arrested in 2010 for his crimes as a serial rapist. He was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault of a child and failure to register as a sex offender. He pled guilty to the sexual assault of a child and took a plea deal in court. Bobby Lewis Winn will most likely spend the rest of his life in prison, but he is eligible for parole after having served 30 years.

• Reginald Bond was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of rape in 2014 but was connected to at least seven other assaults in Saint Louis and four in Harris County, Texas.
