Kingsbury Man Dead After New Braunfels Crash

A Kingsbury man died Friday night after a crash in New Braunfels. The crash occurred at FM 1101 and FM 306 about 1030pm according to a statement front the New Braunfels police department.

The 47 year old man was driving a GMC Yukon north on FM 1101 when he was broadsided by a Honda Civic traveling east on FM 306. Police believe the driver of the civic a 17 year old girl failed to yield the right of way to the man at the intersection.

According to the statement the teen stopped at a stop sign at the rural intersection and then proceeded striking the oncoming driver of the Yukon who did not have a stop sign. The impact caused the Yukon to veer out of control and roll over ejecting the driver.
