Three Fort Worth teenagers were killed in a single car crash early Saturday in Arlington. A BMW was northbound in the 2400 block of West Green Oaks Boulevard, near the intersection with Arkansas Lane about 1:20am, when it went out of control veered across the road and crashed into an electrical control box and pole.
The car was on fire when rescue officials arrived. A 19 year old passenger whose name has not been released, managed to escape the wreckage. He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with non life threatening injuries.
Three others including the driver, remained trapped inside the car until Arlington firefighters pulled them out. The Dallas County medical examiners office identified the three as Colton Goodman, Jacob Ramos and Jonathan Lavering.
They were taken to by ambulance and one by Careflite to parkland memorial hospital in Dallas where they later died. Police are investigating the crash and trying to determine where the victims were before the accident.
